Design │ Neverland

This was an open-ended asignment. I decided to make it a playful, experimental project. The main use of the design is a preschool for children. First, the concept came up to create height differences between two circulations and their surface. Then, I manipulated various materials in my models to create space during the study process.

Design │ The Connection Of Contradictions

[Connecting height, angle, as well as aspect by creating circulations and changing the skyline.] When I first walked in the alley, it felt wide by Taiwan standards. But when I looked up, I figured it was the light traveling through the space of canopies, plants,and various materials into the alley that provided the open feeling.  Unlike the street level which is quite open, just as rainforest canopies are thick and thin, so was this and other similar Taiwan building canopies. [The Photoes Of The Current Situation Of The Site]  -Skyline From The Streelevel- If you cut a section at differet heights, each layer will create its own skyline.  Light is created by the various aspects of materials, from their transparency to their height. In concept, I tried to use linear relationships to create connections.
